Tips for Printing the School Performance Profile Page

For those wishing to print a copy of the performance profile for a particular school, you will need to perform a couple of quick setup tasks prior to printing. This will ensure that what you are printing out corresponds with what you are seeing on your computer screen. Following are the instructions for most of the modern internet browsers.

NOTE: For Safari users on Windows, there is currently no workaround for printing background colors or images.

Internet Explorer (7+)
  1. Locate the File menu and select "Page setup..." from the dropdown.
  2. On the dialog that pops up, ensure that "Print Background Colors and Images" is selected. Click "OK".
  3. Return to the File menu and select "Print..." to print the page or "Print Preview..." to review the page prior to printing.
Google Chrome
  1. Locate the File menu and select "Print..." from the dropdown.
  2. On the dialog that pops up, ensure that "Background colors and images" is selected.
  3. Press the "Print" button.
Firefox
  1. Press the "Firefox" button or locate the File menu and select "Page Setup..." from the menu that appears when you place your mouse over the "Print..." option.
  2. On the dialog that pops up, ensure that "Print Background (colors & images)" is selected. Click "OK".
  3. Return to the File menu and select "Print -> Print..." to print the page or "Print -> Print Preview" to review the page prior to printing.
Opera
  1. Press the "Opera" button or locate the File menu and select "Print -> Print Options..." from the menu.
  2. On the dialog that pops up, ensure that "Print page background" is selected. Click "OK".
  3. Return to the File menu and select "Print -> Print..." to print the page or "Print -> Print Preview" to review the page prior to printing.
Safari (Mac Only)
  1. Locate the File menu and select "Print..." from the dropdown.
  2. On the dialog that pops up, click on "Show Details" and ensure that "Print backgrounds" is selected. Click "OK".
  3. Press the "Print" button.
